Mr. Anurag Phakkey BVM, MSc and MRCVS
VETERINARY SURGEON / PRACTICE OWNER
Mr. Anurag Phakkey is a qualified Veterinary surgeon holding BVM, MSc and MRCVS qualifications. He qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 1984, completed his MSc in 1987, and became a Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in 1990. Since 1988, he has dedicated his career to treating companion animals and became the main Veterinary surgeon at Animal Choice Surgery in March 1999. Mr. Phakkey is a strong advocate for preventative care and takes great satisfaction in finding effective solutions to complex health challenges faced by pets.
SENIOR HEAD NURSE / PRACTICE MANAGER
Louise has worked at Animal Choice as a registered veterinary nurse since 2010. Alongside her hands-on nursing role, she has developed strong management responsibilities that keep the practice running smoothly. Louise enjoys building relationships with clients and their pets and values being part of a close-knit, caring team. Outside of work, she stays active and has a passion for travelling; she always plans the next adventure. Enjoys planning the next adventure.

Emma MRCVS
VETERINARY SURGEON
Emma joined Animal Choice in November 2024 after qualifying from Bristol Vet School. She is passionate about delivering attentive, compassionate care and looks forward to meeting both clients and their pets, supporting them through every stage of treatment and wellbeing.
VETERINARY SURGEON
Natalia graduated as a veterinary surgeon from the University of Warmia and Mazury in Poland in January 2024 and began working at Animal Choice in March 2024. She has a strong professional interest in orthopaedics, diagnostic ultrasonography, and dermatology. Outside of clinical practice, Natalia enjoys exploring London’s diverse food scene and sightseeing around the city.

SENIOR CLINICAL NURSE
Tessa is a registered veterinary nurse, she joined Animal Choice in 2020 and has experience working in referral practices and first-opinion emergency clinics. She enjoys meeting clients and caring for their pets, ensuring every visit is a positive experience. Outside of work, Tessa enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her horse.
RECEPTIONIST
Irene works on reception, where no two days are the same. She enjoys welcoming clients and their pets, with dogs always receiving a well-loved treat on arrival. Outside of work, Irene spends time caring for her four cats and hopes to one day welcome a dog into her family.

Theresa is a dedicated receptionist who is always happy to help. She owns a lovely cat named Hirra who is 12 years old. She joined Animal Choice in 2011.
